I haven’t been on the dumpster fire platform since election night. Got on 🦋 when they first started up but just couldn’t get it into my routine. Giving it another try now that a lot of people are over there and active! Probably going to cut back to that and Instagram!

One of the highlights of my year is reading to little ghouls and goblins at slightly spooky story times for the . Sometimes they listen attentively, sometimes they howl along with my songs, and sometimes they just want to touch my hair, and all that’s great. I think it’s important as an ambassador of year-round Halloween to make time to guide the next generation of creepy weirdos. 🖤

This darling sought me out at Blobfest because he’d heard Aurora Gorealis and the writer of Amanda the Adventurer were one and the same! Later, his mom sent me a photo of the framed shot and the printout of the AtA logo he’d brought for me to sign. 😭 I love meeting young fans—it gives me hope for a weird, creepy future!

Have I mentioned how much I adore ? What an inspiration! Midsummer Scream was such a blur and I didn’t get to take nearly as many photos as I had hoped, but what a delight to be surrounded by all things Halloween and horror, including this icon right here, for a full weekend!
