Black Bridge Initiative The Black Bridge Initiative hopes to ensure the Black campus community at UMBC is guaranteed an authentically diverse and racially equitable experience.

We are a student-lead organization hoping to ensure that the Black community here at UMBC is being guaranteed an adequate and equitable cultural experience. We hope to promote a positive cultural shift through coalition-based activism, relationship-building, education & awareness, and policy reform. With support from various sectors of campus life, including students, alumni, faculty, and staff, w
