Hello friends of Rockin' On The River!!! Well, looks like the cat is out of the bag and rumors are swirling (good, bad and some ridiculous ones). With that said, we would like to announce that we are going to suspend Rockin' On The River for 2024. The festival market (especially in our area) has become very diluted with a Rockin' on the (you fill in the blank), or a Sunset on the River, or a Rock the edge (you get the point). You have seen them advertising. Some will do ok and some will flounder. I guess imitation is the best form of flattery. Maybe could have at least come up with an original name, or just something different. Anyway, cost are up on EVERYTHING as you all know and to pull this thing off successfully, it needs to be done "right" and this year it can't be done "right". We have had a nice 10 year run and we will see if you miss us enough to come back in 2025. So the rumors of bad blood between Wilson Point and us ARE NOT TRUE. The rumor that we are being sued IS NOT TRUE. Rumors that the neighborhood has shut the event down IS NOT TRUE. And the list goes on and on and on. Simply, going to give it a break for this year. We really want to thank you guys for supporting the event for so many years. Thank you to Wilson Point Mens Club for ALWAYS being there for us and completely understanding and supporting our decision! Let's try this...For 2025 give me your top 5 bands that you would want to see on a bill together. 1 headliner and 4 local / regional acts. Give me your line up, but make it realistic.
