PRACTICAL MAGIC 2 is officially releasing on September 11, and the long awaited sequel is bringing Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock back together as the iconic Owens sisters 28 years after the original film.
The newly released trailer reveals that Sally and Gillian must once again confront the deadly Owens family curse after a new generation of witches becomes entangled in dark magic. Joey King and Maisie Williams join the cast alongside returning stars Stockard Channing and Dianne Wiest, while Lee Pace, Xolo Maridueña and Solly McLeod introduce mysterious new faces to the magical world.
Based on Alice Hoffman's The Book of Magic, the sequel blends family drama, romance and supernatural suspense as the Owens family fights to finally break the curse that has haunted them for generations. The film is directed by Susanne Bier and written by original screenwriter Akiva Goldsman alongside Georgia Pritchett.
After nearly three decades of waiting, the witches are finally back, and PRACTICAL MAGIC 2 is shaping up to be one of this year's biggest fantasy events.
