Earth Day 661

10/18/2026

A little piece of the Earth Day 661 Festival. ❤️🌎

Some of our favorite festival moments happen in the simplest ways. A smile, a silly pose, friends gathering together and a little reminder of the planet we all call home.

This special photo booth and its hand painted artwork were brought to life by our amazing community supporters Actually, its NATASHA ✨ and Devin Camacho, creating a fun little space for festivalgoers to pause, connect and make memories.

Looking back at these moments reminds us that Earth Day is also about the people who make up our community and what we can create when we come together for a better planet and Brighter Bakersfield.

We're so excited for what's ahead! Join the celebration as an attendee, partner, vendor, sponsor or volunteer. Find your place through the links in our bio!

A Brighter Bakersfield starts with all of us.

The Earth Day 661 Festival returns in 2027, bringing our community together for a celebration of our planet, our people and the possibilities we can create right here at home.

This year, we’re proud to bring EARTHDAY.ORG 🌎’s 2027 global theme, Food for Our Planet™ to Bakersfield and Kern County through a local experience that connects a global movement to our own community.

But we can’t create this experience alone!

We’re looking for sponsors, community partners, local businesses, organizations, artists, educators and supporters who want to help us create A Brighter Bakersfield, Together.

Your support can help bring meaningful experiences, hands-on activities, ongoing youth opportunities, local talent, education and community connection to 🌱Earth Day 661 🌎.

Whether you’re interested in sponsoring, partnering, providing resources, hosting an experience, supporting youth or simply getting involved, there’s a place for you.

Let’s make something meaningful together.

Something NEW is coming to the 661.

What if exploring your city could open the door to possibilities you never imagined?

Introducing CITY EXPLORERS 661! A new youth experience from Earth Day 661 where curiosity leads the way.

Kids will get the chance to explore local businesses and organizations, meet the people behind them, discover different careers and experience our community from a whole new perspective.

From the people who keep our city moving to those who create, build, serve, protect, and shape it - there’s a story behind every corner of our community.

And we want our young people to experience it!

📢 Businesses & Community Partners

We’re looking for local businesses, organizations and community members who want to open their doors, share their stories and create meaningful experiences for the next generation.
