Numbskull Revolution took nine years to complete and witnessed the end of the 29-year marriage and creative partnership of punk rock filmmakers Jon Moritsugu and Amy Davis. This grand finale is their most epic and fully-realized motion picture. Ostensibly a riff on the absurdity of art, warfare of people, material control/secular terror, addictions of every genre, and self-actualization thru internal Jungian conflict, the movie -Β  at its most base level - is a full-on and mega-entertaining cinematic odyssey tinged with ludicrous sci-fi, raw poignancy, and utter brutalism.

Featuring a special intro from Jon Moritsugu and giveaways of his legendary film MY DEGENERATION. This is the Austin premiere and the only place it’s showing in townβ€”one night only!

That’s a wrap on Jackass Week! Thanks to everyone who came and celebrated doing dumb stuff with your friends ☺️ We had four wild nightsβ€”there were tasers, birthday cakes, port-a-potty shot glasses, drag kings, tattoos, merch, trivia, prizes, and of course a giant shopping cart. The cherry on top: we raised $300 for The Skatepark Project helping underserved communities create safe and inclusive public skateparks for young people.

Huge thanks to everyone involved: The Serpent Tattoo and Occult Shop for doing custom Jackass flash every night, No-Comply Skate Shop for donating sick prizes, Zilker Brewing Co. for providing the brewskis, Travis Randy Travis for being our very own Party Boy, and for taking these photos. Love y’all, can’t wait to do this again ☠️

The Skate Department is the Official Administrative Body for Park Roller Skaters in Austin, TX. While Human Resources might unlovingly refer to them as β€œwalking HR violations,” (or rather, β€œskating HR violations”) cofounders and CEOs ☻ π‚π‡π‘πˆπ’π“πˆππ„ π„π‹πˆπ’π„ π’πŒπˆπ“π‡ ☻ and rae have one goal – to build community through skate.
