Happy 1 year mosaic-versary to me!!! 🥳🤩🥳 It was exactly one year ago today that my bestie went with me to to take their Intro to Mosaics class and my life has never been the same since :) I now work here, learn here, show my art here, and can’t wait to see what the next year as an artist will bring!

Also I just realized inefficiently created 100 mosaics in my first year, woohoo!!! That’s approximately 2 per week (anxiety days notwithstanding) lol. Not too shabby eh? 🤗 Here’s just a few of my favorites over the last year, which is your favorite? 🥰

TOMORROW!!! ✨⭐️✨ I’m vending at Austin Creative Reuse’s upcoming Spring Reuse Art Market on SUNDAY, MARCH 29th!! Come shop my goods along with dozens of other local creative reuse artists and community organizations. I know things are tough right now for all, but surrounding yourself with community and finding creative outlets are so key when things feel heavy. There will also be multiple community organizations each day offering fun and engaging eco-friendly activities, adoptable dogs, food trucks, 5 minute volunteering, and more!

Hale well met friends!!!

Come and meet the spring with me SUNDAY MARCH 22nd from 11a-3p for a Spring Fling Market at ! It’s looking to be a beautiful day and I love spending it with my small biz friends 🥰 There will be food, art, decor, clothing vendors and more in a fun and supportive environment (plus tons of easy parking).

This is just a small selection of the mosaics I’ll be bringing as well as some new fused glass magnets 🫶

“Death Cannot Stop True Love”. 2026.

I wanted a special audio from the movie ‘The Princess Bride’ for this post, but IG won’t let me 🫠 So just imagine Westley and Buttercup renewing their love for each other and then kissing and then that little sh*tass kid ruining it by interrupting his grandfather’s narration😅

This piece is a tribute to one of my favorite movies of all time, ‘The Princess Bride’. This story has it all… devotion, daring, and dastardly villains and is easily one of the first movies I go to after a bad day or when the world is too heavy. This mosaic is also a tribute to the late director Rob Reiner and his wife Michelle, he brought so much magic to so many people and I’m forever grateful for his storytelling.

“Death Cannot Stop True Love” will be on display and available for purchase at and starting Thursday March 12th as part of their Austin Glass Studios Showcase. Select works from all 4 Austin glass studios (, Helios Glass, , and ) will be on display at Skyline Gallery from March 12th-April 12th, so please come visit and marvel at all the beautiful forms of glass art!

“Yahaha!” 2026. Private collection.

It’s the Legends of Zelda’s 40th (!?!) anniversary this year and to commemorate it I wanted to share a super special piece I made for a super special lady back in January!

Late last year came up with the ianazing idea of holding a Makers Secret Santa exchange for those of us who needed something to get them into the holiday spirit (bc let’s be real, a lot of us were NOT feeling it). I am SO grateful and thankful they did, not only did it break me out of the holiday grind funk, but I also made friendships and connections with so many amazing makers who are also weird little goblins like me 🥰 We shared about ourselves, stressed about life, showed off our trinket hoards (😆), and built friendships which I’m so appreciative of.

This is the piece I made for , and I hope I did her favorite little guy justice! I based the Korok’s face off one of her Korok skirt hikes (Cait is an *amazing* leather worker if you give her shop a little peruse) and had so much fun making his little stripes and “acorn” 🤣

Happy 40th birthday LOZ, this makes me feel super old but also still young at heart for loving this magical game 💚🌱🗡️

“The Dictator”, 2026. Private collection.

I can’t believe I haven’t posted this recent commission yet, but I just heard MCR on the radio and was reminded I had to do it justice :) My friend JK reached out to me looking for a super thoughtful gift for for her birthday, and requested the recent tour poster from My Chemical Romance and I *immediately* said hell yes!

This piece challenged me in so many ways and I’m so grateful to JK for trusting me throughout the process! Initially I had noooo idea how I was going to convey a huge crowd scene without going crazy and destroying my hands in the process 😆 But I then had a stroke of luck with a fused glass class I was taking at the same time, and realized I could make a designer sheet to give that effect. I used clear tekta on the bottom, smoky grey transparent bullseye glass in the middle, and then topped it off with coarse, medium, and fine frit in multiple skin tones from the foreground to the back to give the illusion of thousands of faces. It was then fired at a full fuse and voila! An easy peasy crowd :)

I definitely imbued this with MCR love and appreciation during the creation process, and loved jamming out to “The Black Parade” and “My Helena”! And while I’ll never be cool enough to be a Superfan, it was absolutely amazing to get to sit in my teenage nostalgia and then put my spin on an MCR masterpiece 🖤💜🖤

“Hey, Arnold!”, 2026.

If you were a 90’s kid, this song is tattooed on your SOUL 🧡 I was obsessed with this cartoon and loved the art style even back then, it seemed so gritty but soulful and comfortable all at the same time. What I would’ve given to be a stoop kid on a brownstone in Brooklyn instead of a dork in a single-story rancher with NO character in Texas 😅

“Bud Cubbie: Hero”, 2026. Available with a portion of proceeds going to benefit RAICES Texas.

Mirror is exceedingly hard to photograph, and this piece was exceedingly hard to make and I poked myself an exceedingly high amount of times, and my feelings after Renee Good’s murder were exceedingly hard to navigate. But, I did the exceedingly hard thing and sat at my desk and made this mosaic. It helped me process my emotions better and I even cried while making it, just letting my frustration and loss and rage and the futility I feel out of my body. Sometimes I don’t know what I’m doing on here as an artist and I feel so insignificant in the larger scheme of life, but then an idea comes to me like this one and I just have to get it down in glass and mirror and tile.
