This is a snapshot of some of the baskets woven during our first HOT Monthlies event! Aren't they beautiful! Thank you to everyone for coming and being in conversation with community about peri/menopause. Yes, getting started with basket weaving can be a "hot mess", but you all rose to the occasion and wove the most beautiful baskets! Thank you for sharing space together and bringing conversations about peri/menopause to light. We are excited to host a Menopause Care Workshop with led by Joan Miller. Join an inclusive, participatory workshop on peri/menopause featuring discussion, interactive learning, and plenty of time for questions. Sat. Oct. 10th, 2-4pm. Register at link in bio. Space is limited.

Peri/menopause comes with plenty of questions. Join Joan Miller from Planned Parenthood for an open, participatory workshop exploring common symptoms, hormone therapy, mental health, and practical ways to navigate this stage of life. This workshop combines evidence-based information with interactive learning, discussion, and opportunities to support one another. People of all genders experiencing peri/menopause are welcome.

The workshop includes evidence-based information relevant to a wide range of experiences, including the effects of gender-affirming hormone therapy on menopause.

Peri/menopause deserves to be seen and heard. Join us for an evening of original per(i)forming arts pieces exploring midlife, body, change, and identity. Featuring Austin artists sharing work inspired by their own experiences, this showcase celebrates the power of seeing ourselves reflected on stage.

We're looking for per(i)forming artists! (Please share!)

🔥HOT for the Holidays: Per(i)forming Arts Showcase is now accepting submissions from Austin-area performers and creators (dance, music, comedy… all the things!) with original work inspired by peri/menopause.

Whether your piece is funny, moving, joyful, messy, or somewhere in between, we'd love to hear from you. We're seeking performances that explore midlife, body, change, identity, caregiving, friendship, aging, or the many experiences of peri/menopause.

Join us in creating an evening where our stories are seen, heard, and celebrated.

Each month September through December we’ll be hosting special events including basket weaving & improv workshops, a peri/menopause care panel/workshop with Planned Parenthood& a very special per(I)forming arts showcase!
