It presented six soul music stalwarts from the 60's singing 12 holiday favorites arranged in the classic Memphis style. From the Crates: First released as a single in 2023, "It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year" https://youtu.be/rl4PbOnl6SM is probably the peppiest track on Mickey Thomas' 2024 album, "A Classic Christmas" https://amzn.to/3Vr2LwL. Thomas set out to make a traditional holiday album, and on that front, at least, he succeeded. It consists of eight post-war pop standards, most of which qualify as easy listening. Not for me, but your mileage may vary. You may not know his name, but Thomas sang several huge classic rock hits, including Elvin Bishop's "Fooled Around And Fell In Love" and Starship's "We Built This City."
