South Paws Fest is getting a cosmic companion!

I just found out that on January 25, 2025—the night of South Paws Fest—a rare planetary alignment is happening! While we’ll be focused on the music and raising funds for Austin Pets Alive, it’s pretty wild to think we’ll also have a front-row seat to this celestial event.

Sunset is around 6:01 PM, and the planets should be visible shortly after.

Oh, and a heads-up – January evenings in Austin can get chilly (think mid-60s during the day and dropping to the high 30s at night), so layer up and stay cozy while we enjoy the music and the stars.

Can’t wait to see everyone there – let’s make this an unforgettable night for a great cause (and maybe the universe will bless us with clear skies)!

2 weeks ‘till Paddle for Puppies! 🐶

Join us Sunday, August 25 for Paddle for Puppies, a unique annual fundraiser presented by Austin Subaru benefiting our first-of-its-kind Parvo Puppy ICU.

🐾 Each year, participants hop in a kayak, canoe, or stand up paddleboard at the Rowing Dock and paddle together down Lady Bird Lake. All proceeds help save the lives of hundreds of vulnerable puppies that depend on our Parvo Puppy ICU, all thanks to a splashing morning on the lake!

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped make South Austin Summer Fest an incredible event. Despite the huge storm that hit us, we persevered and had an amazing time thanks to your support and dedication.

To all the bands who rocked both the inside and outside stages, thank you for your patience and stellar performances. Your music lifted our spirits and kept the energy high throughout the day.
