CTS is back today, and it has us looking back at one of our favorite memories from last year’s show.

We had the chance to meet former Formula 1 aerodynamicist Willem Toet and get him behind the wheel of the DDX Prime. Hearing what stood out to someone with his background was easily one of the highlights of the event for us.

We’re sad we can’t make it to CTS this year, but we hope everyone in attendance has an amazing show. If you’re there today, enjoy it for us.

The DDX Precision, in the heart of Bellevue’s Auto Row.
Our showroom gives drivers and automotive enthusiasts a private place to experience DDX firsthand, from the movement of the platform to the feeling of the car through the controls.

“This is something that I would love to train on every single day.”

Last year, Podium One invited Ian “Crimsix” to experience a DDX simulator for the first time and captured his reaction. The best drives leave you wanting to get back behind the wheel. Hearing that from someone who knows what real feels like is something we take pride in.

Take a closer look at DDX. Explore our simulators through the link in our bio.

Motion-cue fidelity is how closely the delivered cue matches the car’s real motion in shape and timing. This is our own comparison, measured in our own harness on held-out captures the predictor never trained on, against an extrapolator we implemented and measured identically. The multiplier grows with how far ahead the cue is placed; PreActiv measured above the extrapolator at every horizon we tested.
And what it predicts, it renders faithfully: the sharpness you feel is the car’s - neither exaggerated nor softened.

One of our favorite parts of going to expos is getting to see people drive the DDX Precision for the first time.

There’s only so much you can show through a screen, so we always love getting people behind the wheel to experience the motion and feedback for themselves.

Want to try it? Schedule your demo today. Link in bio.

Raw telemetry arrives at Dynamo. Roughly 3.5 ms later, on DDX Precision, an accelerometer on the platform detects motion. Filtering and cue construction, transmission to our controller, servo response - every stage in between is measured, and every stage is ours. The rest of the chain, the part every motion system inherits, lives upstream in the simulation - and DDX PreActiv goes after that part, predicting where the car is going, not where it was. We published the whole budget; link in bio.

A college sim club came by DDX HQ and got to try a little bit of everything.

From one of our first Prime builds to the DDX Precision released earlier this year, they got to see and feel how much the DDX experience has evolved. It’s always fun having people in the shop who are genuinely excited about sim racing. Click the link in our bio to schedule your demo

The best feedback comes from getting in the car.

In this clip from our Finland rally video, Johannes Suomalainen, Key Account Manager at Simucube, talks about why real driving experience matters for product development, and how partners like DDX help translate what drivers feel into engineering language.

That is what this trip was really about: driving, learning, and bringing that reference back into what we build.
