Keys of Life

Keys of Life Keys of Life, under the direction of Daphne McDole, is an east Austin based piano instruction program teaching kids the value of music.

The Keys of Life is currently enrolling students ages 6-17 for piano lessons. If your child loves music and has always wanted to play the piano, I’m the person you need to call. I am committed to making your child’s musical experience a great one. The classes include a weekly 45 minute lesson, monthly field trips and formal piano recitals. My piano studio is open again at the Austin Area Urban League. I love watching my students place their hands on the keys. It reminds me that every lesson is bigger than scales and songs. It’s confidence being built, discipline being discovered, and young minds learning that their gifts have a voice.

Keys of Life isn’t just a place to learn piano… it’s a place where potential begins to play out loud. And there is no greater joy than witnessing that music come to life. I still use John Thompson Method Books. I used them when I was a kid. Pieuma is a beginner and she is so smart. She’s going to be amazing. Her posture is great and her fingers are long.

This has ALWAYS been the best part of my day!
