For those wondering where I’ve been…

I’m taking a step back from Facebook for the next couple of months.

Over the last several weeks, a lot of my content has been limited or flagged in ways I don’t fully understand, and it’s taken the fun out of creating here. Instead of fighting the algorithm, I’m going to put that energy where I can actually connect with people.

Can we stop pretending that Christians in sobriety aren’t supposed to have bad days?

Some people think once you get sober and give your life to Christ, you’re not supposed to have bad days anymore.

That’s not how it works.

I still have hard days. I still get tired. I still fight discouragement.

The difference is I don’t run back to the bottle, the drugs, or the man I used to be.

Sobriety didn’t make me perfect.
Jesus gave me someone to lean on when I’m not.

Bad days don’t mean you’re failing.
They just reveal what you’re turning to when life gets hard.

Today, I’m still sober.
I’m still following Christ.
And that’s enough for me.
