Austin,TX - SXSW® is pleased to announce a wide range of free events for 2023 including our very own “LatinATX” Community Concert Presented by Latin Music Coalition Austin with EQ Austin.

LMCA’s inaugural official SXSW showcase will be at Sheraton BackYARD (Austin, TX) on Saturday, March 18th.

Entry is free and open to the public. Music starts at 7pm.

Austin, Tejas! Where will you be tonight for NYE? Check out two hot Latin shows tonight featuring some of Austin’s hottest local bands. Up-and-coming Latin group of the year will be at Auditirium Shores for a free show. And in South Austin, and will be be bringing the New Year cumbia-style Tickets are still available at the door. YOUR INPUT NEEDED: The Greater Austin Music Census is a community-led initiative to gain a better understanding of the current needs of the Austin-area music ecosystem. Open to musicians, DJs, promoters, venue owners, studio engineers, and other music professionals residing in the greater Austin area (Travis, Williams, Hays, Caldwell, and Bastrop counties), the Census data will help drive informed, meaningful solutions for the ATX music community. Take the Census now at austinmusiccensus.org

The Greater Austin Music Census is a community-led initiative to gain a better understanding of the current needs of the Austin-area music community. This marks the first time in almost a decade that the music community will have new data from which to develop policy solutions and approaches. The Census will capture key information about the greater Austin music economy and help the city and community to make more informed, data-driven decisions to support the music ecosystem. The Census will be administered by Sound Music Cities a leading Austin based provider of music ecosystem studies and music census work, in conjunction with the Office of Mayor Steve Adler, KUTX, EQ Austin, Juice Consulting, and over 50 local partners.
