At RISE, we believe music education is an integral part of early childhood development. Kids who learn music early have an easier time with language development, memorization, coordination, pattern recognition, teamwork and countless other skills that will make their journey in learning smooth and enjoyable.

We would like to thank Jay Johnson, Make Music Day Austin and West Music for making sure that ALL of our kiddos have access to music education at an early age!

Austin Public Library is looking for music that represents the diversity of genres that make up the Austin music scene, and which represent the diverse demographics of our area and various points of view. Artists and bands in all categories including Americana, Bluegrass, Blues, Classical, Country, Dance, Electronic, Folk, Gospel, Hip Hop, Jazz, Latin, Pop, R&B, Rap, Reggae, Rock, Soul, Spiritual and World.
