As part of the Summer Civics Series, the Mayor’s Office invites residents to a Sustainability Town Hall on Saturday, August 22, from 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM at Aurora Public Works (2185 Liberty Street).
Come learn about Mayor Laesch’s sustainability initiatives and discover how Aurora is home to TerraCycle's largest North American operations hub!

♻️ TerraCycle US will be onsite to answer questions and collect specific hard-to-recycle items:
🪥Oral Care: Toothbrushes, toothpaste tubes & caps, floss containers, and outer packaging.
🍶 Squeezable Snack Packaging: Plastic snack pouches, caps, snack cups, and film lids.

Through the OLI Gardens Patriotic Initiative, OLI is offering free patio-size garden beds to Aurora residents!
✨Visit www.oligardens.org to sign up (available first-come, first-served while supplies last).

🫜🥕In the shared-abundance spirit of the traditional Victory Garden, we simply ask that participants donate any extra fruits and vegetables to a local food pantry.

💃🏽From the high-powered performances at Electric Plaza and car enthusiasts on Benton Street, to the Sustainable Marketplace & musical performances at Stolp Island Patio — the energy in downtown Aurora was absolutely unmatched.
