🫧 We’re baaaaack...and so is the FOAM!

After a very full summer, an amazing Honeybee Festival and a little much-needed downtime, we’re finally diving back into our festival photos — and where better to start than THE FOAM PARTY?!

There was foam. There was chaos. There were kids disappearing into bubbles. And there were a whole lot of smiles. 😂

Who says pumpkins have to come from the pumpkin patch?

Our friends at the Auburn Memorial Library are getting creative with fall! Join them Tuesday evening to make your own yarn pumpkin and give it a little personality with fall or Halloween toppers.

This one definitely deserves its own spotlight. 🎶🐝

The Hive Mind Songwriter Series brought something completely new to this year’s Honeybee Festival — and what a day it was!

But we have to talk about the guy behind it all. Logan Merz was truly the heart and soul of Hive Mind. He had a vision for bringing songwriters together, sharing original music and the stories behind it, and creating something special right here in Auburn. To watch his passion and heart come to life on the Golden Hive Stage was pretty amazing. He gave this everything he had — and it showed. 💛

With the help and support of his buddy Tyson Wessels, Logan brought an incredible group of artists to Auburn, and from the afternoon sunshine to the lights coming on after dark, there was music on the Golden Hive Stage all day long.

The Auburn Creative District was honored to support and partner with Hive Mind, and especially lucky to have Logan as part of our Honeybee Festival team. This is exactly the kind of creativity, collaboration and big thinking we love to see happen in Auburn.

And to every songwriter who made the trip to Auburn, stepped onto the Golden Hive Stage and shared not only your music, but the stories behind it — thank you. You made the day something pretty special.

And the best part? We get to do it again. 🎶🙌 We can’t wait to have Logan, Tyson and Hive Mind back as part of the Honeybee Festival and keep building on what we started this year. Something tells us this is only the beginning.

Logan, you dreamed it. You poured your heart into it. And man...you pulled it off. 🐝🎶💛

There’s just something about a park full of makers, dreamers and doers. 💛🐝

Our Buzz & Bloom Expo brought together an amazing mix of artists, makers and small businesses, and this year we welcomed something new — the Kids Market! Nine young entrepreneurs showed up ready to share what they had created, and watching them interact with shoppers and proudly show off their work was pretty darn cool.

To every vendor who packed up, set up and spent the day with us — thank you. You brought so much creativity, personality and energy to the Honeybee Festival.

And to everyone who stopped, shopped, visited and supported them — thank YOU, too. Judging by some of these smiles, I think a little shopping may have happened along the way. 😉🐝 This is what community looks like. 💛

And there are plenty more festival memories to come! A huge thank you to Erika Worthey of Erika Worthey Photography, our official festival photographer, who captured the people, the moments and the fun of the day so beautifully. 💛🐝 We can’t wait to share more of what she captured!

🐝 Auburn Creative District Friends, you showed up!

What an incredible day! Our 2nd Annual Honeybee Festival was everything we hoped it would be and more. Seeing so many people in the park, enjoying the music, activities, artists, food and just spending time together was pretty special. 💛

To everyone who came, volunteered, performed, created, sponsored, sold, served or helped behind the scenes — THANK YOU! So many people had a hand in making this day happen, and we are so grateful.

And we have LOTS of pictures. 😉 Rather than throw them all at you at once, we’re going to keep the buzz going and share some of our favorite moments over the next several days.

What a day, Auburn. You really are The Place to Bee! 🐝💛
