To everyone who came to the Moon River Milonga last night, we want to thank each of you from the bottom of our hearts. It was a special night, and it was great to see so many dancers from Sacramento, Reno, Nevada City, and of course Auburn. Thank you so much for coming out and supporting your “Tango de Oro”!
We especially wish to thank Sean and Juliana Dockery for their amazing teaching, beautiful DJing, and wonderful presence throughout the day and evening. It was a treat to have them in Auburn, and we are extremely grateful to them for making the trip up here from the Bay Area with their young children. A big thank you also to Sean’s parents, who provided babysitting throughout!
Placer Arts is always wonderful to work with, and we want to again thank them for allowing the use of their wonderful venue, and for all the assistance they provide in making these events a success. Especially, we wish to thank Angela Tahti and Elora Milby for all that they do!
Thank you as well to David Graybill, who not only provided the sound system, but also took the time to come and join us last night. David, you have been instrumental in making the Sacramento tango community the success it is, and we very much appreciate you for being so accommodating and helpful.
Also, a big thank you to Julianne Pyle, who provided so much help before, during, and after! Juli, you are amazing, and we are honored to have your beautiful presence and undying help and friendship. Your contributions, not only to Tango de Oro but to many other milongas in the Sacramento area, are appreciated by all!
Thank you also to Evie, Morgan Heller, and Guy Cables from Sierra Outdoor Center for bartending and help at the door. Thank you as well to Patrick Alessandri, Daniel Z., and (again) David Graybill for taking the time to help clean up and leave The Arts Building the way we found it!
