While this isn't how I wanted to see the Early Ford V8 museum in Auburn, IN, Museum Motors, their attached shop & consignment marketplace, they saved my hiney by checking my car out and giving the rod bearing diagnosis to help prevent any further damage had I dared to try driving any more than 4 miles to this shop.
The museum itself is simply superb and features so many Ford cars, memorabilia, engine and other drivetrain part cutaways that you can easily get lost for the entire day here!
Their current exhibit showcasing every #1936 model produced that year as well as examples of a parts counter and a typical dealership sales desk are simply amazing window into that decade of simpler times.
Car rescue is hopefully coming together this weekend, so until then it is time to post my ventures from the past 2 weeks.
