I heard thru the grapevine/chatter that folks seem to think that when you hit 40 it means “you’re old” or somehow that means your expired goods or should be put out to pasture or something like that.. ON THE CONTRARY let me tell you why it’s the exact opposite..
The truth is, I feel 40 but I don’t. Folks get “scared” of AGING cuz they too worried about living passing them by and not worried enough about LIVING IN THEIR MOMENTS! I used to be scared too. Hell sometimes more recent then I’d like to admit.. but as I hit this RIPE AGE I also realized it’s not a death sentence or a sign of things.. it’s literally a stop. A moment in time you get to LOOK BACK AT HOW FAR YOU HAVE COME AND STILLLLLL.. how FAR YOU CAN GO! Your age is what you MAKE IT! I go thru hard times, slumps, depressions like anyone else, but I also can say I found something I LOVE TO DO And made a living out of it BEING THAT DAMN GOOD AS IT (10,000 hours!!), I’ve been BLESSED to meet AND CONTINUE TO MEET the most wonderful and fascinating people of all creeds and characters, I’ve been blessed to experience things I could’ve only dreamed of, AND IM STILL GOING!!!!!… at the end of these pics is where I’m at… but if you told LIL MIGO (2nd pic of the slide) or even a few after if I wouldn’t been able to look back at this life and think this was possible? .. AINT A CHANCE IN HELL! … but CEST LA VIE! it proves you wrong! YOU AND YOUR LIVE MEAN SOMETHING! you just gotta stop and take in the journey! .. enjoy its adventure and even its hurdles and scary parts.. AND KEEP.. FU***NG.. GOING! … folks won’t see AGE… they will see INSPIRATION! …
Thank you to EVERYONE who has been a part of the journey.. to the people I love, to the friends whom became family, to the all the homies I met DJing, to those who believed in me and gave me a chance believing in what I could bring (AND STILL WILL BRING even better today!).. thank you! ..
40 feels good.. and I hope when you reach if (if you haven’t) you can feel this good too! Don’t worry about aging.. WORRY ABOUT LIVING! … and it’ll ALLLL WORK ITS SELF OUT!
