I cherished forever moments in seconds
Held captive in a mind that grew brighter with restraint, play beloved laugh loved one I’ll sing your song, gaze at your stature praise to the beholder of your beauty I am the witness to the good you hold dear the rainbow to the promises u make clear the path before you release all attachment to me where do I go you ask this life is a garment I wasn’t made to keep you greater is coming I am within and to be without means to search just how far would I be from thee could u ask a mirror not to reflect could u cast away the love that was given the day you do a little while and you’ll find it again not far from my hand and you’ll see I’ve always been without conditions it’s more than me it’s who I’ve always been I cannot run anymore the less I am the more you are I am a spectator who has taken part who has taken a part your path is near and I must go to ensure what I say is true will u remember me as I remember you solid objects cannot move nor can they save frozen in time the captured gaze when the night falls and I am free I will watch from far away
