Doodle-D Art I love to paint ethereal subjects like angels, fairies, mermaids and unicorns. I believe in these beautiful beings and I paint with my hearts’ eyes.

“I like beautiful things, so I keep my faces pretty and pristine”, Denise says.
“But I also love to mess things up. It’s a way of being free to ‘color outside

“I also love to paint ethereal subjects like angels, fairies, mermaids and unicorns. I believe in these beautiful beings and I paint with my hearts’ eyes and an intuitive knowing from above.”
Denise’s favorite art teachers and artist teachers are Tracy Verdugo, and Flora Bowley. Denise sells her work privately, at local art galleries and at festivals. She is available for commission paintings upon request. You can contact Denise at [email protected]

Yesterday’s EXPRESSIONS Retreat filled my heart.

Our gathering was intimate, supportive, and deeply nourishing.

The day began with a beautiful yoga practice, led by Melba Payan followed by a shared meal around the table.

In the afternoon, we spent 4 hours immersed in creativity. Through paint, collage, layers, and exploration, each person stepped beyond their comfort zones and into the creative unknown. I was so inspired by their willingness to experiment, trust the process, and express themselves in ways they hadn’t before.

One of my favorite parts was witnessing each person’s unique voice emerge on the page. No two pieces looked alike, yet each was authentic, beautiful, and deeply personal.

Holding space for this experience reminded me how much I love teaching from an organic, intuitive place. Every retreat teaches many new things about the process and about myself.

To everyone who joined us: thank you for your openness, courage, creativity, and trust. My heart is full. ♥️🎨🙏

Hey local friends! I’m so excited I will be participating in the Alpharetta Arts Festival this weekend...May 23 & 24!

Spring festival season is one of my favorite times of year. I love being outside, surrounded by creativity, community, conversation, and so much beautiful art always feels inspiring and uplifting.

I’ll be bringing a wide variety of work including original paintings on canvas and paper, hand-thrown ceramics, prints, and a few mosaics as well ...with pieces in many different sizes and price points.

If you’re in the area, I would truly love for you to stop by and say hi.❤

Hey local friends!

I am delighted to offer a full day art and yoga retreat in Sugar Hill on June 14th with the amazing Melba Amalie Yoga and Wellness called "Expressions"

"Expressions" is an immersive retreat that weaves together the wisdom of yoga and the freedom of mixed media art. Through guided movement and creative exploration, you are invited to listen inward and discover new ways of expressing what lives within.

On June 14, we’re offering a one-day Art + Yoga Retreat in Sugar Hill, GA, bringing together our shared love for movement, creativity, and meaningful self-expression. A space to slow down, reconnect, and express yourself in a supportive, intimate setting.

This experience is designed for women who are craving:
• a reset
• time to breathe and move
• creative expression without pressure or perfection

We’ll begin with a grounding yoga practice, share a nourishing lunch, and then move into a guided mixed media art session. No experience is needed, just a willingness to explore.

This is a very small, intentionally curated group limited to just 10 women.

Early bird pricing of $155 is available until April 29. After that, the investment is $195.

If you’ve been feeling the pull to pause, create, and reconnect with yourself, this might be for you.

A Day to Express What Lives Within Through Movement and Art
