🐄Triming🐄
I think one of the best things about filming myself from time to time is getting to see the little things I do, that I dont even realize I am doing! For example: these two methods of bracing. I am curious if you do these, or something else!

🐢Slow it down🐢
My students always want the clay to listen to them… and it does! So remember that if you want the clay to stay where you had it, you cant remove your pressure all at once. Slow and steady wins.

🦖Brace🦖
This comes up all the time in my intro to wheel classes. If you use a clay with a lot of grog, then this is even more of an issue! No need to sand your hands off, just lighten that hand pressure and brace brace brace 🦖

🌸New Hobby🌸
This week I saw a video by Anna Zepplin about making some adorable beaded shoes and it finally convinced me that I should just try it! I have been watching bead embroidery artists (lmk if that’s the wrong term I’m 100% new at this) for a while now but it just felt so intimidating! I finally just decided to try it and it’s SO fun! Shoes will be next but I wanted something that felt easier to manipulate at first!

🪩Mirror🪩
The exact ones I bought are linked in my bio! I have always had mirrors available in my classroom- but these seem much better than the free standing mirrors! These are more secure, and easy to adjust for any height of student. Really excited to use these!

🌈All the info🌈
🌈I linked the specific grill grate I purchased in my bio! It was $28.99 and fits perfectly on the Brute 34 Gallon cans (I got cans from Lowe's Home Improvement for $42.98 and added a Brute dolly for an additional $44.98)
🌈My main goal of this grate it to make students break the reclaim down into smaller chunks (this makes for the best reclaim in my opinion)
