The Public Art Committee is excited to announce the installation of an exhibit entitled DISLOCATIONS : artists books GLOBAL ART PROJECT / Lafayette Public Library by GAP ( Global ART Project : the collaborative future) Global Art Project, an international collaborative collective of 70+ artists working out of 17 countries promoting creative experimentation and communication in the global arts community. Dislocations includes a selection of artists' books created by GAP artists and curated by Carl Heyward and Akiko Suzuki. The exhibit runs from June 14 through September 8, 2022.
Artists Carl Heyward and Akiko Suzuki offer Push/Practice, a master workshop in mixed media, at Studio 55 Martinez. The next workshop is scheduled for September 25, 2022. For more information click Studio 55 Martinez Workshops and Classes.

The public art display case is located in an alcove at the top of the stairs off of the main entrance to the Lafayette Library and Learning Center, located at 3491 Mt. Diablo Blvd. Lafayette, CA 94549. The display case is viewable during library hours. Please check the Lafayette Library and Learning Center for more details.
