Atlanta Music Education was founded in 2011 and provides private and group lessons that have your kids asking for more. Gone are the lessons kids dread and parents pull their hair out forcing practice time. Elexa and her team of teachers lead innovative youthful lessons, group classes and musical activities while excelling in their own fields and instruments as active performers in Atlanta. The team leads by example helping students with confidence, structure and unique skill building. Atlanta Music Education hosts multiple seasonal formal recitals a year, quarterly Kid’s Open Mic Nights at favorite local restaurants and coffee shops, workshops and musical outings to local performances– all included in your lesson tuition. Many of Atlanta Music Education students are multidisciplinary in the instruments we specialize in from voice to piano and ukulele to guitar. We maintain a modern approach to music education and are not stuck in method book styles alone. We encourage a foundation of solid music theory understanding mixed with the fun of learning the classics to the popular radio song to musicals of today. Our students accomplish big things with our help: performing in Capitol City Opera Children’s Chorus, Broadway national tours, Ukulele Night at the Greater Good BBQ, winning the Performing Arts Conservatory of Atlanta Competition, DeKalb School of the Arts main-stage, Tucker Farmer’s Market, starring roles in their school musicals and talent shows, Georgia All State Choir and performing for the Atlanta Music Club to name a few. http://www.atlantamusiceducation.com
