Finished up my project today! I’m so excited about how well it came out and just how happy and cheerful it is. I really enjoyed working on this and the creative freedom I had. Thank you for once again letting my creative juices flow!

28 birds later... these little guys are going to be a part of a window display for a cool local wine shop . This is about a quarter of what I’m painting for the windows. The theme is spring and rebirth and it’s been a lot of fun working on it! Stay tuned for the complete display.

Well I know it’s been a hot minute but it’s been a year. One would think with social distancing that I would have tons painted but I honestly got discouraged, a little sidetracked and just couldn’t seem to find inspiration. But I had some little artist encouragement and here we are. These were both gifts for friends. The top is my usual but with an Oregon outline and the bottom two are actually kid art with a little elevation for friends who will be departing soon. Hopefully I found the little spark I needed and can get back to something I love and enjoy!

I’ve been having a hard time finding the pieces I want for our new home so I decided to just paint them myself. Love how these can out. It was really nice painting for myself today!

So I’ve finally found time to start painting again and have my first public showing! is having a Dark Crystal Celebration and asked local artist to create Dark Crystal themed art. It’s a bit different from my usual stuff but I had a blast painting these! Lot’s of childhood memories. The movie is on Netflix if you’ve never seen it. @ CreepyBeautiful Pier 11

I’m hoping to establish myself here in Astoria and will begin posting things as I go! Kodiak really gave me the confidence to follow a dream and I hope Astoria will allow me to continue on that path!
