SUPA J PRODUCTIONS IS NOW DEFUNCT ! .

This means as of this moment forward i will no longer be producing any shows , with the SPJ name or logo attached. i will be refocusing my creative efforts on my own musical and writing projects as long with a effort to bring real comprehensive harm reduction awareness to the scenes closest to my heart and also ones i feel would benefit most from information on the harm reduction model . this includes local scenes of JAM/ EDM/hip hop. but i also hope to expand regionally as many festivals and events have pledged interest in such a endeavor . PLEASE NOTE . to any band i have previous commitments to you have my word i will put you in the best possible hands of producers and promoters far more talented then I in there respective fields . also i will continue to promote any underground event or product or art form of any kind . this page will remain a collective for random ramblings creative writings , musical events. consciousness expansion and your are always welcome to pin any link on this page and i will help promote it and long as you are not a money grubbing w***e but at least some what resemble a starving artist . the reasons for this decision are many and i will elaborate in due time . I'm sure most of you wont even notice as there has only been a total of 4 SJP shows on the east coast in the last 2 years . to all whom showed support and love . i thank you , the ride is not over , to anyone who has reached out for help your call will not go unanswered , to anyone that has played a SJP and given it there all resulting in a solid musical performance despite the lack of reasonable reimbursement . i thank you you are what underground music is all about . to anyone who has ever agreed to play a SJP and bailed or simply no showed f**k you very much ( I'm looking at you overrated Atlanta DJ staple, your slot should have gone to someone more deserving and more talented . but enough of that , peace and light i love you all. keep the post coming . and stay tuned for my next project that will hopefully impact the underground scene in a much more positive and tangible way , good night and good luck ! Its early in this dreadful morning, it’s early but the hour is already late, I sit at desk 20 years old file cabinets painted turquoise and splattered with paint, and grime , handles coming off screw sticking out, hideous absurd. Atop a heavy curved slab of treated wood . On top a computer speakers, a CD case that no one will open ( what the f**k is a CD?) a printer, a phone, paper and standard desk clutter desk junk . Cold coffee with to much cream, w-2 with ridiculously small deductions. I guess I wont be filing this year, so much for being a productive member of society. Those bastard’s owe me the money anyway, regardless of my deductions or lack of and measly unemployment offering, they owe, and there going to pay. There IRS may not measure it in dollars but I’ve paid in to there broken system with work , and diligence, with time, and with pain, with tears and with sweet. And certainly with blood. So at 8 in the morning I’ve logged on and signed in, I’ve tuned in turned on the machines and I’ve essentially drooped out, but the formula went all wrong, strung out from lack of sleeping gave it up half past four and left a sleeping babe is is now crawling all over my back... Chanting a rabid mantra of Micky Mouse and you tube absurdly , mad like a adorably fiend ! Now settled and distracted with a belly of blueberry french toast I fed to his fully capable lil self while he is entranced among the pixels displayed on my I tunes darting and shaking in to Micky Mouse club house . The day stars off like any other, we do what we can to get by , a rejection to this notion the embracing of a peculiar philosophy the discord with the world around me , my niche in its gears has been elusive and only glimpsed, never held much the less embraced, like liquid threw the fingers, barley tangible at all. Inside there is something growing. Along with the rotting organs stained teeth and forced smile. The synapses firing will eventually hit there mark ( for even a stopped clock is correct twice a day and that’s on any given day ). Imagine a day like this one. A day were the frost has recoiled and Monday has approached were after witnessing the ugly and absurd end to the bloody and buffoonish distraction we call foot ball season. s**t caned in a instant and 4 f**king points. Those dirty falcons deserved to lose truth be told. Although it is seldom that those who deserve to lose lose ., and those who have earned the right to win are blessed with it, a rare occasion indeed, but it does some times happen and so it went, and I cared far too much, and I watched cartoons and snorted Affrin and swam with the absurd awkwardness of being in the company of my sons mother, a day when the seer ridiculous of being alive for it is only surpassed by the ridiculousness of being dead for it . Foul and fragrant ugly and beautiful , filled with tiny rays of hope breaking through a forecast of gloom. Cold coffee cigarets cannabis the media bias, the nakedness in the absence of chemicals , the birds , and the dog s**t glistening in the morning dew the frost has receded. My hair line holds strong. The grey has recruited unforeseen strength amongst the roots that shield the vulnerable armor of my brain , previous black strongholds have been infiltrated and forced through coercion they have come to take my facial here to announce that they are now part of my soul. Very much a peculiar thing.;. just part of the mad world, how ever small how ever elusive , our place in it exists, weather we recognize it or not it is of no consequence , were playing the part to the T, everything is on schedule, on a day like today , everything is where it should be .
