His parents which separated when he was a infant, Maurice began to live with his grandparents in a small oppressed neighborhood called Georgetown. His grandparents ran a juke-joint in the neighborhood to make ends meet. Maurice Took Advantage of the "Latchkey kid" and begin to inherit the street-life. He learn very quickly how to survive and started hustling drugs to make a living. Maurice was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon at the age of a minor. After conviction Maurice was sentence to spend three months in a behavioral Emotional program and given probation. While serving three months in this program he began to write songs about his emotions. After release Maurice started Directing his attention in School activities such as, sports, School talent shows, after school programs, and School councilman. His attempt to be narrow Stright ended in 2007 when he was arrested and convicted in trafficking cocaine in Atlanta Georgia. In prison a artist was born "Korleone da don". Korleone begin to write song after song, releasing right after prison "Set up Shop" and "Talk to'em" which grab the attention to 101.9 radio station DJ Blaq and Radio personality Skeemoney. Shortly after he drop a mixtape called "Hood Music", hosted by 101.9fm's Radio personality Skeemoney. A short interview with Skeemoney as the up and coming new Artist in North Carolina. Korleone made his first stage showcase in front on thousands in Kinston North Carolina bike drag race opening act for French Montana and Trina . Korleone crowned himself the king of the coastal Bay Area his second year in his career. Dropping a street banger mixtape called "Kain&Soda", hosted by 101.9fm's DJ Blaq. The intro "Kain&Soda" and "Ridin thru my city", grabbed attention to Maryland Menace of GrustleGang founded by Lil Scrappy of the reality show "Love & Hip Hop". Korleone continue to be a trendsetter and start learning the Business side of the music industry. Doing interviews all over the East Coast about the explosiveness coming from his music. Korleone managed to drop a crazy exploding mixtape called "MadMax, On Georgetown Rd" hosted by DJ Derrick Geeter from the coastal Plains area. The single "We are the streets". The single "Shout out to the plug", grab attention from J Hood from D-Block and Project Pat to drop a single with Korleone.
