Would we have the entire world show up? Would NO ONE come? When we started the 2026 All Southeast Shop Hop, we had no idea what we were getting into, but we were excited, maybe a little bit scared, and very eager to find out.

And find out we did — we are ecstatic with how good ASESH was! Did two months really fly by that quickly? Apparently, but we didn’t notice because we were too busy greeting, waving, and stamping all of our shop hoppers!

We met so many people and, more importantly, made so many friends! It was so interesting to see where everyone was coming from and the shops they were headed to next. Funny thing is, many of you reported bumping into the same people at completely different stops. We even got to see the Flat Hopper at both of our stores several times!

The All Southeast Shop Hop may be over, but we are ready to do it all over again! Only a year to go until all-new shop-hopping adventures begin!

English paper-piecing has completely conquered our hearts! (Especially in Duluth!) 💗

We never thought we’d be making entire projects without a machine, but here we are, hand-piecing away. 😂

There’s something so unique about the look you get with EPP. It makes you really think about which fabrics you’re using, how they work together, and where to get that perfect fussy cut to make your project one of a kind.

And then there are all the tools! We love getting to try new things and discovering just how much there is to learn every time we sit down with a project.

EPP is also so portable. And it’s just plain relaxing. At the end of a long day, there’s something really nice about sitting down with a project, piecing, and watching a show. It’s better than therapy. 🧘🏻‍♀️

Machine, who? English paper-piecing, we’re so glad we have you!

When they say “extra-large throat space” and you need to verify it yourself. 👀

The verdict? Peekaboo, I see you! 🤣

The brand-new Laundry Basket Quilts Janome Continental M6 boasts one of the largest throat spaces in the industry, with 13” to the right of the needle. In plain terms, that’s A LOT of room for quilting and sewing large projects. So if P’s head fits, just imagine what won’t fit! 😂

Sweet, easy, and versatile, the Dog Paw Mini Quilt is a fun way to celebrate our favorite four-legged friends! It’s approachable for a wide range of experience levels but has enough personality to be instantly recognizable. (And it’ll definitely become a conversation piece. 🐶)

We’ll make one block during class, which could become a pillow, wall hanging, mini quilt (put it under your pet’s food bowl!), or, if you and your pet love to snuggle up, the beginning of a full-sized quilt!

Shorter days, late September, and autumnal crisp… something’s a-brewing, and these spooky prints will help us summon up some Halloween spirit! 😈

* Monster Block Party Collection — Haunted house or party house? There may be some (not-so) scary characters roaming about, but they all mean well. Have you ever seen a fabric that makes you *need* to sew? Ever since this Imprint canvas from Moda Fabrics designer Amy Schelle arrived in Bogart, it has been *begging* to be under our needle!

If you need us this weekend, we’ll be adding some quilty goodness to our wardrobe with the Yarrow Wallet by Noodlehead (with special assistance from our Janome).
