J'ouvertnation - JVN8

J'ouvertnation - JVN8 J'ouvertnation (JVN8) J’ouvert what?? Who's nation?? J'ouvertnation, pronounced (joo-vay-nay-shun) is essentially a play on the word rejuvenation!

We
infused the cultural spelling of one of our beloved traditions, J’ouvert, as a reminder of where we “all hail”. J’ouvertnation is a movement of forward and free thinkers whose fresh perspectives focus on being the change instead of waiting for it. Simply put, we aspire to inspire ;) The rising sun symbolizes new beginnings and universal inclusion and the word J’ouvert itself is a contraction

of the French words Jour d'Ouvert which translates to "light of day" or "opening day". So you see, we aren’t solely a J’ouvert troupe, we’re a troupe of rejuvenators - or as our citizens say, j’ouvertnators :) Stay tuned!
