We had an amazing week with our cast of this year’s Junior Company A Taste of Broadway: Musical Theatre Intensive! They spent the week learning music, choreography, blocking, and all kinds of theatre skills like projecting, cheating out, and more all leading to tonight’s showcase performance!

We are so proud of these student performers and can’t wait til the next time we see them on our stage! Congratulations, everyone!!

Congratulations to SPA’s Odyssey of the Mind team on an awesome 2025-2026 season! This year’s Division II team took on Problem 5: Taller Tales of John Jivery and put together a performance with a shocking twist that earned them first place at both the North Georgia Regional AND State of Georgia competitions!

The team traveled to Iowa this year for the world competition and competed with 55 other teams in their same problem and division. They had a great performance and rocked their spontaneous problem, but even more important, they had an incredible time meeting new friends, trading pins, and adventuring together all week long!

We are so incredibly proud of every single one of you and the time and work you put into this award-winning season. Odyssey of the Mind is a wonderful program and we are thrilled to have each of you representing us on this world stage! Congratulations and we can’t wait until next year!!

Audition registration is open for our Fall 2026 production of Mary Poppins, Jr! Auditions are open to student performers of any experience or skill level from 7th-12th grade. Performers in this production will also attend the iTheatrics International Junior Theatre Festival.​

The jack-of-all trades, Bert, introduces us to England in 1910 and the troubled Banks family. Young Jane and Michael have sent many a nanny packing before Mary Poppins arrives on their doorstep. Using a combination of magic and common sense, she takes the children on many magical and memorable adventures, but Jane and Michael aren’t the only ones upon whom she has a profound effect. Even grown-ups can learn a lesson or two from the nanny who advises that “Anything can happen if you let it.”

Audition registration is open for our Fall 2026 production of Into the Woods, Jr! Auditions are open to student performers of any experience or skill level in grades 2nd-8th.

The musical centers on a baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King’s festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a witch’s curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse, and wind up changed forever!
