A story of love never said, from childhood friends to everlasting love. Each knowing the love they felt for each other but afraid to be the first to express the feelings they held in their heart.

Years later, horrific circumstances bring them back together. This time they cannot deny the love they held inside, but their love comes with dire consequences. It takes an act of mystical intervention to bring them back together again.

During their second time apart, murder, deception and secrets fill up the years. Some secrets are viewed through the shadows and the window of an old garage apartment with a view of a white cape cod house across the street.

Will they finally find peace and freedom to love again? Not again, because you cannot have an “again” if there was never an end.

The historical registered house on the cover is referred to as ‘the big house ‘ in a small neighborhood in N.C. It offered Peggy the perfect setting to create many heartwarming, humorous nighttime stories with valuable life lessons for her children and grandchildren. Her kids favorite stories were about a family of frogs that lived in the crawlspace under ‘the big house’. They still talk about when it was bedtime and they would yell “Mama, please read
one of your Timothy McFrog stories. Please! Please! Make “The Adventures of Timothy McFrog” part of your children’s nighttime routine. The memories and lessons will last a lifetime.

Nurses
They come early in mornings or late at night….
Working the long hours with several things in site….
To help their patients through this time of need….
Provide hope and encouragement to succeed….
And when the outcome turns out well….
A wonderful feeling that makes the heart swell….
But for some the end is not the same….
Out in the lobby to call out the name….
They share the tears and heartache that comes….
Can’t dwell to long, more care to succumb….
Finally home to family after all they have seen….
Separated from them because of quarantine….
Prayers for the patients and then off to bed….
The same thing tomorrow without being said….
