Radiohead is promising a fight after its classic song “Let Down” was used without permission in a post on the U.S. Immigration and Enforcement Control’s official Instagram page.

“We demand that the amateurs in control of the I.C.E. social media account take it down,” the band says in a statement released today. “It ain’t funny. This song means a lot to us and other people, and you don’t get to appropriate it without a fight. Also, go f**k yourselves.”

Long seen as a message of hope amid loss and confusion, “Let Down” was released on Radiohead’s 1997 album OK Computer and is one of the band’s most-streamed songs on Spotify, with more than 690 million plays.

This is the second time in recent weeks that Radiohead and its members have been on the wrong end of a music licensing dispute. Earlier this month, guitarist Jonny Greenwood demanded that a portion of the score he wrote for the 2017 Paul Thomas Anderson film Phantom Thread be removed from the recent documentary Melania. The artist said Universal failed to consult him on the usage, in breach of his composer agreement.

I haven't been on Social media much lately as all that's on my mind is all the Social Injustices running rampant, ie: ICE, POTUS, the World... and so much more.
And now with "AI" people are creating so much more BU****IT just to Post "BU****IT" NEWS that is not real. Creating what is thought to be newsworthy information but with a closer look with objective minds its all lies being shown.
Being an Old Hippie, Social Activist, etc. Back in High School when I started Promoting/ Producing Small Concerts with my Production company "Mirage Productions", which in '88 changed the name to "LaserDog Enterprises "
I just can't switch mind from all the wrongs going on in the World, I guess it's.
My voice here doesn't reach far so it seems why bother?
I post on my page LaserDog Radio to escape all these disastrous subjects as Music is the sanctuary for humans, evens Animals, Music sooths the Savage Beast.
And there is much News in the World of Music.
