Hi, to all! This one is sort of a "work piece". It's created using dabs of every color (358 total) from the Copic Sketch Markers series. I call it "COPIC SWIRL" (2017). The size is 10 x 13" black frame. It's being awarded to the winner of the "4 out of 6" game at Doug's BINGO tonight. This will be at Monterrey of Smyrna, GA, from 5:30 until 6:00 p.m. Why give this away? Once a month, I have what I call a Doug's BINGO "Theme Night". Hello to all! To those who may not know me, I'm Doug Gazlay. I'm a pianist, DJ, and artist from Smyrna, GA (a Metro Atlanta, GA suburb). These DougArt posts will feature my paintings a couple of times a week. I'll also share how I was inspired to create them, and the materials used. Other details, like year created, and their availability, in case you're interested in owning one. I love learning what inspired the great painters of yesteryear. Just playing around with my SKETCHES program. First "doodle" of 2024: EXPLOSION TROPICAL (2024) Digital painting created on iPad.

There is a "slice" tool that lets you enclose an area of "ants" and you can then move that cut-out wherever you want it. So, this was just fun to do. Has a pretty cool effect. No???
