So for anyone wondering— this I why I’m working on cars a lot lately. No one told me I couldn’t park there so I tried. In all seriousness I don’t know what made me wreck that night— I hit hard enough that I don’t remember anything but coming to in airbags and smoke. I did have an unexplained event a month prior resulting in passing out standing and splitting my face open on a table corner: who knows could be related but I can’t afford to find out a doctors opinion. I’ve been struggling to recover my mind and memories for about 6months and progress is anything but rapid. Autopay lapsed and insurance won’t pay out despite failing to notify me of payment due till the same date as the accident; so now I get to play the sh*tty car shuffle for the next who knows how long. Gratefully I really only received one injury of significance(to my head ooopths)— I climbed out of the mangled remains of my car/house/job with nothing but a dislocated thumb. Thankfully I temporarily do have housing with family as I recover. Wish me luck on this rebound era please n thanks! At least I can still turn a wrench.

Bought this 1981 Toyota 1-ton today.
Got it running, about two hours later.
Nearly died in it when I found out the steering was clapped about 15 minutes after that. And again fifteen minutes after that.
Sold it (somehow for small profit) an hour after that to the guy who pulled up on me mid-panic attack in a dollar general parking lot asking what it would take me to sell it (me::”probably what you’re offering”).

New car ownership speedrun record to beat: 3hrs 30 minutes.
