In the spring of 2020, Regency Airways will return to the virtual skies. Development of Regency has officially re-started this month. There will be a few operational changes to our airline which reflects the changing real world market. Regency will, of course, continue to be a premium experience airline offering the best service and the best comfort in all classes. However, Regency, like most airlines in the 21st century, will be taking advantage of new technologies to make it more efficient and to provide more nonstop routes and expand markets.
Consequentially, this means shifting away from our original fleet profile that included many legacy aircraft and moving towards a fleet filled with efficient engines. The star of the fleet will be the 787 with its route capabilities. Heavy development on our 787 route structure is currently ongoing and I think our future pilots will like what we do with this incredible machine. We will also be adding the Ejets to the fleet as well. Gone from our expansion plans will be the A380, though we may keep the 748. Twin engine aircraft will make up the primary of our fleet across the board and we are looking for development of airliners such as the A32XNEO, A321XLR, A350, 737MAX, Ejets E2, A220. Staying within the fleet will be the 777-200LR and -300ER.
Stay tuned for more info!
