Guru Raghavendra’s Hanuman Darshan.🙏🏻

Sharing a Divine story of Sri Raghavendra Swamy and Panchamukhi Hanuman in celebration of the 355th Raghavendra Swamy Aradhana Mahotsava through my art. 🙏🏻

Sri Raghavendra Swamy was a great devotee of Lord Hanuman. He spent many years in deep meditation and prayer in a cave near Mantralayam.
Pleased with his devotion, Lord Hanuman appeared before him in His Panchamukha form—with five faces: Hanuman, Narasimha, Garuda, Varaha and Hayagriva. Raghavendra Swamy received the Lord’s divine darshan and blessings. This sacred darshan became an important part of Guru Raghavendra’s spiritual journey and his eternal devotion to Hanuman.

and grace that flow through learning. Together, they remind us that the highest wealth is the wisdom that leads us towards the Divine.

Śrī Sarvatra - Lakshmi in every Blessing. 🙏

My vision… Lakshmi dwells in every auspiciousness. She is not merely the Goddess of wealth, but the very essence of Śrī — abundance, beauty, nourishment, wisdom, purity and grace that makes our life complete.

In this painting, I tried to bring together the many forms of auspiciousness through which Lakshmi is present. The Navanidhis, Tulasi, Purna Kalasam, grains and fruits, Chandan and Kumkum, the Vedas, gold, Kamadhenu, Kalpavriksham, elephants and the rising sun each represent a different kind of prosperity and blessing.

The Navanidhis symbolize divine treasures, while grains and fruits represent nourishment and abundance. Tulasi and the Vedas represent devotion and wisdom; the Purna Kalasam signifies fullness and completeness. Kamadhenu and Kalpavriksham remind us of nature’s endless generosity, while the elephants represent strength, royalty and auspicious prosperity. The rising sun brings the feeling of a new beginning, light and hope.

Through this painting, I wanted to show that Lakshmi is not found only in gold and material wealth. She is found wherever there is goodness, gratitude, nourishment, knowledge, beauty, generosity and dharma. May Mahalakshmi dwell in our homes, our hearts and in every good thought and action.

Andal Therottam 🙏🏻

I visualized Andal and Rangamannar blessing us from the skies, while their divine chariot moves towards us. Inspired by the beautiful Tamil temple ther tradition, I imagined little parrots pulling the ropes of the chariot.
For me, the parrots represent all of us—the seekers and devotees. A parrot is known for repeating what it hears, just as a devotee keeps repeating the Lord’s name with love. …the parrot is also a messenger of love and longing.

I imagined each little parrot representing us pulling the ther with one simple feeling — a longing to reach Andal and Rangamannar and receive their grace.

Chanting Goda’s name and seeking Rangamannar’s grace, the little parrots pull the chariot of devotion.

Goda — Periyalvar’s Divine Daughter. A father’s love became the cradle of a devotee who belonged to the Lord.

Periyalvar found little Goda beneath the sacred Tulasi plant and raised her with boundless love. To him, she was his precious daughter; to the world, she would become Andal — the bride of Sri Ranganatha.
