Inspired, grateful, exhausted...just a few of the things I am feeling after a 4-day workshop in Nashville, TN with at . I learned so much, and met so many wonderful artists, AND got to see one of my best childhood/forever friends, .

I have a “dream studio” at , but Warehouse 521 is next level. So much art, by so many talented artists, hang on the walls. And it is such a comfortable space for gathering with other artists, while trying to grasp all the creative wisdom being imparted upon us by the SO TALENTED Larry Moore, author of “Fishing for Elephants,” and such a good instructor. On a previous visit to Warehouse 521, I took a workshop from the talented figurative artist , and have been longing to be back in this bit of creative heaven.

Another trip highlight was a visit to !!! I filled my cart with so many goodies! I can’t wait to get back in my studio, , for more experimenting, because for me .

Are you an artist wanting to paint more expressively? If so, Gary is the instructor for you!!! Register by end of day tomorrow, Monday, 6/10 for summer painting classes with Gary Bodner in Roswell, GA. Classes start Friday, June 21, and are held at 700 Holcomb Bridge Rd in Roswell, GA. Class time is 9:30-12:30 on the following Fridays: 6/21, 6/28, 7/12, 7/19, 7/26 and 8/2. Class size is limited to 8 students. Cost is $440, and you will be charged a deposit of $45 when you register.

PAINTING CLASSES with Gary Bodner GR Bodner
Classes start THIS WEEK!!!
ONE SPOT AVAILABLE...classes start back this week, and one of our Thursday students has had to drop out. If you are not registered for this session and would like this spot, or want more details, please message me. Fee is $440. Classes are 9:30am - 12:30pm on Thursdays in Roswell, GA.

Thursday classes start this week on February 1, and will go through March 14, with a break the week of Feb 15 If needed, there will be make-up classes on March 21 and/or March 28.

Classes are 9:30am - 12:30pm at my studio inside of City Antiques in Roswell at 700 Holcomb Bridge Rd.

The class format consists of group critiques led by Gary. Ideally, you should bring 1 to 3 paintings you have started; and Gary will guide you to edit and complete them for dynamic paintings in your very own style. You can also use the time to start something new.

Gary’s advice and encouragement will help you to approach your work with a looser, more painterly approach. He focuses heavily on the design of your composition. Class size is limited to 7 students.

This class is tailored for moderate to advanced level painters, but Gary is happy to have beginners as well.

My mom, Faye Drummond, and her art group, the Suchess Brushes, will have their paintings as part of the Summer Exhibition at Quinlan Visual Arts Center. Opening reception is next Thursday, June 15 at 5:30. It should be a great exhibition!!

Classes for all levels & all styles that meets 1 day/week, 1pm - 4pm, starting the week of January 23 and going through the week of February 27. The cost is $295 for 1 day/week for 6 weeks. Located at 700 Holcomb Bridge Rd in Roswell.

I am offering 4 days as options for classes: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, & Fridays.

Minimum of 3 students required for group classes. Max is 5 students.
