Open your Heart, Open your Mind
A train is leaving all day...
-Prince, Around the World in a Day 1985.

Around the World in a Day! 🌍

This June, the museum has welcomed visitors from the Netherlands, Germany, France, the UK, Japan, Australia and all over the USA.

We've also been covered by press from Japan to the UK, and KARE 11 ran a wonderful story on our opening day right here in Minneapolis.

A new blog post shares some moments from the ppening, what NHK Japan's viewers had to say after watching their segment, and details on our final events — a free walking tour, a day of North Minneapolis memory sharing, a conversation on Prince and spirituality, and a community roundtable on grassroots legacy work.

This edition of The People's Museum for Prince closes June 27 — come see the art and read the stories from around the world before the train leaves.

Love Letters to Minneapolis 💜

For everyone who's visited Prince's hometown and experienced the warmth of that community - now is the time to send that love back.

Minneapolis has welcomed so many of us. The kindness of strangers. The Prince stories shared on street corners. The friends we made at First Ave, at Paisley Park, dancing through the grief, honoring Prince together.

I'm calling on the Prince community to share your Minneapolis stories, photos, art and memories with The People's Museum for Prince so we can help transmit these messages of love. Let's show our Minneapolis friends they're not alone.
