It’s been a busy week ramping up for festies and throwing galore while also finishing taxes and shipping out orders and spring cleaning and becoming a professional pizza girl with my homemade dough. I get to have a little catch up / errand day of no job job stuff and maybe another one on Monday who knows.

I’ll be in Chamblee at Contrast Artisan Ales on Sunday for an Ara Festi! See you there with planters and more 🖤

Pup turned 12 last week! At age 6, PuppiMudworksCo was founded in his name. He had big shoes to fill and golly he’s filled them.

His favorite hobbies include floor time with me, laying alongside the legs of people he loves, naps with his furry blankets, sitting by the pantry until I give him treats 17 times a day, supervising clay things, watching out for his Bambi, drinking from the tub faucet, and being the center of attention when his friends visit.

He’s my favorite judge of character and my mirror. A true boy cat who’s soft when he needs to be, a healer when I’m down, feisty when people cross his boundaries or mine, and obsessed with me all the time.

Its funny I always feel like I know him so well but I think back to lifetimes ago when he was a tiny and realize how much we’ve grown together and all the things I’ll continue to learn about him. Feels like forever and yesterday at the same time.

Life lately ✨

I’ve been taking things real slow during my annual clay-break. Pup and I have enjoyed the slower pace, time with mom, my new Vans yo, and much delectable food. Am I ready to get back into the full swing of things? No I don’t think so, it’s been so nice absolutely chilling for the first time in years, savoring the cold weather, taking naps almost as much as Pup does. But also I’m aching for studio time so don’t get it twisted, I’ll never be done claying around.

Had to shift timelines a bit (I haven’t forgotten about my travel mug members) because there’s no rushing clay! And there’s always more testing to do. Shop update coming in March sometime along with finishing many custom orders, kicking off my return to claying with a little bit of Pop’s and BMW here and there. I’ll keep you updated on the happenings.

SNOW! Life was beautiful this time last year. Pup and I bundled up, drank a lot of coffee, put together one of my favorite puzzles, and practiced our napping. Look at the happiness in my eyes! GA being 70• this week was a crime.
