Some poems are written…

This one was seduced into existence.

“An Ode to Marvin Gaye” is where spoken word meets soul music, where every line borrows the language of a man who taught us that vulnerability could be sensual, love could be revolutionary, and desire could sound like poetry.

His song titles became my verses.
His legacy became my canvas.
The rest… I simply felt.
