In our Academic Theatre Department, we offer in-school residences, after-school enrichment, and curriuculm/instruction/infrastructure build-out for public and private schools in Theatre, Shakespearean Studies, Music, and Dance since 1999. We have partnered with over 300+ schools, 20+ Boards of education. We have won numerous local, regional, and national awards for our In Love with Shakespeare pr
ogram for at risk youth and our 21st curricula for Arts Education in schools and our shows. In our conservatory program, we offer full scale professional training for youth ages 4-18 working professionally or wishing to work professionally in theatre, film, and t.v. The conservatory program is comprehensive and basd on BFA/MFA curricula. Students learn all major styles of acting, Laban movement, Alexander technique, scansion, text study, voice for the actor, singing techniques, musical theatre dance, stage combat, mime, Shakespearean acting, and more. A teen professional company tours and trains each year, this highly selective group auditions in early fall. We have produced 10 of the past 12 ESU Shakespearean Contest winners and more scholarships,acceptances, and bookings than any other program in the southeast. We are a boutique type program and not for everyone. We concentrate on quality not quantity. Our director and founder was Atlanta's woman of the year and Atlanta Magazine's Woman Making a Mark winner- the youngest receipent ever to be awarded this honor. She has also been inducted to the Westminster Schools Hall of Fame. Ms.Kendrick grew up dancing with the Atlanta Ballet's junior company and got her start on Atlanta's very own Fox Theatre stage. Ms.Kendrick has performed extensively around Europe, the UK, and London's West End and has performed on stage with Bob Hope, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Jordana Spiro, Mark Rylance, Alan Rickman, Ed Helms, Brian Baumgartner, and many other well known famous faces!
