The embroidery is finally finished!

Fill in is nearly complete! As I get closer to the end of this stage of the process, it is so satisfying to see how it will look. It also helps me plan out the painting part of the art work. Once it is all assembled, it will be over 4 ft by 3 ft. Quite a large piece! Once the background is painted, the cross sewn on, and all 133 books/chapters/verses are written, the full message will be revealed.

Going into Good Friday with this message on my mind 🙏🏻

The empty tomb signifies the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ, validating his divinity, conquering death, and offering hope of eternal life. It acts as crucial evidence that Jesus is the Son of God, marking the fulfillment of prophecy and the completion of his redemptive work on the cross.

As we progress through the Christian Holy Week, I wanted to share a bit more of this piece as it comes together. One of my favorite aspects of this work is the subtlety of the symbols within the fill. Just like our relationship with Christ, the closer we get to His message, the clearer it becomes. Here, the symbols become more apparent as you draw nearer to the cross. Only in a close relationship with our Savior can His message be heard and understood. This, for me, is the greatest meaning I am finding as I walk out my faith with Him. Glory to God in the highest, and the fact that I am concentrating on the foot of the cross this week is powerful for me. It is where I need to focus, always. GLORY TO GOD IN THE HIGHEST!!!! 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻
