This is one of my sculptured busts. Made of clay, fired and painted with glaze paint and then adding gold leaf flakes that seem to tumble from her hat to her chest…while using different lighting to create different moods. She looks to have stepped out of the 1940’s but she was created in February 2026. Say hi….

I’ve heard other artists say very much the same thing. They would say they started to draw at a very early age and so did I.

I started writing Anya, of the Saltu, in 2009. I put it aside to write and produce several plays but I always came back to it. Finally it was determined we should isolate because of Covid 19. At that point I decided, I’m home so finish Anya! Yes, and so the book, a fantasy tale, is finished! I’ve used a photo of one of my ceramic pieces as the cover. Now to publish!

These two photos really have nothing to do with each other except that they have something to do with me!
I won my first award as a playwright in Brunswick, Ga. The play was ”Second Time, ” which had a stage reading at the fabulous Ritz Theater in Brunswick.
The second photo is one of several pencil sketches I've created while staying in place during the Pandemic
of 2020. Pretty face, interesting smile, great eyes, lovely hat!
