When you’re almost ready for tomorrow’s balloon installs… and Mother Nature has other plans. 🫠⛈️

Day 16 of my Road to 25K
Just got home, finishing up preparations for tomorrow, and keeping a VERY close eye on Hurricane Isaias.
Because apparently planning events in Atlanta also means checking the weather forecast 37 times a day. 😂

Balloons are almost ready, plans are still being figured out, and we’re taking things one update at a time.
Just another day behind the scenes of running a small balloon business.

ROAD TO 25K • DAY 15 🎈

Leaving PS with… you guessed it… more last-minute balloons.
I need to start prepping tonight for an upcoming Pride install, and I’m still making decisions because apparently that’s how I operate.

So tonight YOU get a vote:
✨ Starburst or no starburst?
I have an idea in my head, but I want to know what you would choose before I show you the final setup.

DAY 15 ✔️
Two weeks + one day of you basically following me around while I work, drive, eat, prep balloons and figure things out as I go.

ROAD TO 25K • DAY 14 🎈

Okayyyy… 6:30 became 7-something today.
But guess what? I’m still here.
Having dinner before I switch into Balloonito mode and prep some balloons for tomorrow and TWO WEEKS into this challenge, I think that might be one of the biggest things I’m learning:

Consistency doesn’t have to mean perfection.

I could’ve said, “Well, I missed 6:30… I’ll do it tomorrow.”
Nope. We’re posting it late and keeping the streak alive.
Day 14 ✔️ Two weeks of showing up.

Now let me finish eating because apparently my second shift starts after dinner.

Who else is working on something tonight after dinner?

ROAD TO 25K • DAY 13 🎈
Happy Tuesday from me and approximately 127 helium balloons in my house.

Okay… maybe not 147. But you get the idea.
Another last-minute birthday, another round of helium balloons, and another very normal evening in the Balloonito world.

Some days you catch me at dinner, some days in Atlanta traffic, and apparently a LOT of days you’re going to catch me surrounded by balloons.

Day 13 ✔️
Nothing deep today. Just inflating, prepping and getting it DONE.

Small business owner sounds so simple until you realize how many personalities come with the job.
One minute I’m designing something pretty, the next I’m answering emails, making content, loading the van, checking the weather 37 times, figuring out venue rules, climbing a ladder and wondering why I decided to own a business in the first place.
