Usually we feature fish on these mugs, but I got a request I couldn’t refuse! This mug is in it’s infant stages, I can’t wait to carve the details and paint! I’ll post a follow up of the completed piece soon 🙌🏼

Every single fish mug is hand painted by me ✨ This is a spawning chinook “king” salmon. 👻 fun fact, I wasn’t always a potter. I started out as a 2-D artist and stomped my feet into a ceramics class. 4 months later I changed my major and haven’t stopped playing with clay since 🙃 I’m trying not to wrestle with “what I want to happen” anymore. There’s a bigger plan in place and even the unexpected things always make sense in hindsight.

These are some fish mugs from the past 🐠✨ I love customizing these as gifts for the holidays because each mug has a story behind it 💕 I’ve made everything from crappies to mahi, largemouth bass to salmon, cichlid to catfish! So far no request has been unmanageable, so bring it on 🎣 holiday season 2021...here we come!

Personalized stemless are becoming very popular in the studio ✨ I always get so excited when I see an anniversary being celebrated with our pottery 💕 I try to put a little extra love into those when I’m making them 🌻

Harvesting our last batch of plantain for the year very soon! I’ve been reflecting on some of the things people told us this season and my favorite comment has to be “I forgot to be annoyed by that mosquito bite!” Sums it up pretty perfectly ✨

We are dropping some jars off tomorrow, both 2oz glass jars & 1/2oz travel tins 🤘🏼
