✨ THE SHOOT THAT STARTED SOMETHING SPECIAL… ✨
Back in 2021, I had one of my FIRST viral photoshoots with Ki Shot It and it featured FOUR beautiful Black girls with the most gorgeous ginger hair. 🧡👑
And this wasn’t just a photoshoot… it was a statement.
These girls had been bullied and made to feel different because of the color of their hair. So I wanted to flip the narrative and create images that showed them exactly what I saw:
BEAUTY. UNIQUENESS. CONFIDENCE. REPRESENTATION. 📸✨
I wanted the world to see that Black beauty doesn’t come in one shade, one hair texture, or one look.
We can be dark-skinned.
We can be light-skinned.
We can be brown.
We can have curls, locs, braids, coils…
And YES — Black people can be GINGER too! 🧡🔥
That shoot reminded these young queens that the very thing somebody tried to make them feel insecure about could actually be the thing that made them stand out.
Looking back years later, I’m still proud of these images because I wasn’t just taking pictures…
I was capturing confidence.
I was creating representation.
I was helping little Black girls see themselves differently.
And that’s what Ki Shot It Visuals has always been about. 📸💙
Your difference isn’t something to hide. Sometimes, it’s exactly what makes you unforgettable. 🧡👑
