I’m a Cap rising, Aqua Moon, and Libra Sun. My human design is a 5/1 Generator with a Sacral authority.

This life of mine has been a rollercoaster ride. Every day I am learning something new about myself that empowers me to live more authentically.

Let’s talk about grief. It’s a sneaky bo**er.

Today marks the one year of my father’s passing. 5/16/2023.

The thing about grief is you can be going along your day and then BOOM a scent, a word, or a photo can almost knock you out. I believe we go through all stages of grief at any given time after a loss.

There is always a tug of war between the emotions of losing my dad and understanding that his transition was the best for him. He was a sick man.

I always had the belief that once someone passes, they are made whole again. No more sickness or struggles. Not necessarily a heaven or hell, but a return to the spirit world.

Possibly to reassess their human experience and if they accomplished what they set out to do when they were born. 🤷🏽‍♀️Who knows?

I just know living my human experience, the heartbreak of letting go of my daddy is going to hurt for a while.

I am not one to tell people to always be nice and watch what they say to a parent because they will not always be around. Instead, I say be authentic with your parents because they will not always be around. So when they do pass, you know everything that needed to be said was said with no regrets.

My dad and I argued A LOT. He was a Virgo, he loved to control. We even had a small “debate” a couple of days before his passing. I don’t regret any of it. It was our dynamic. We wouldn’t say anything out of the way to each other, it was just two people trying to be heard at the same time.

If you can’t tell already, I miss my dad. ✌🏽🫶🏽
