Merriam-Webster defines BREAK TROUGH as an offensive thrust that penetrates and carries beyond a defensive line in warfare; an act or instance of breaking through an obstacle; a sudden advance especially in knowledge or technique; a person's first notable success.
This definition sounds like something that was accomplished for us over 2000 years ago, in Christ. Christ broke through (penetrated) the very gates of hell and brought, and bought, us back to safety and away from the war zone. We are no longer waiting for this to be done, it has already been done. We are safe, there are no more obstacles, and Christ removed them ALL. We are no longer victims, but victors. In the Scriptures, “And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power” (King James Version Colossians 2:10). Everything we need we ALREADY have.
A few weeks back brother George Cumella Jr introduced me to a man named Leif Hetland. In this video, Leif stated that “everything in the kingdom is to be received” …Dah! God hath (absolutely) happily given to us “all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ” (Ephesians 1:3). In paraphrasing Leif, maybe we should ask God how to receive ALL that He has given to us. This statement should cause us to STOP in our very tracks and consider our conversations with our Father. In paraphrasing Leif again, he said instead of asking God to bless what we are doing (our ideas, our plans, our whatever) maybe we should come into alignment with God's plan and and receive what God is blessing.
To say that we are waiting on a breakthrough indicates that we are waiting for something that has not happened… which contradicts everything that God is. God withholds NOTHING from us. He gave and He constantly gives to us. Allow me to be silly for a moment if God never did another thing for us, hasn’t he done enough? Thank God, that He is not limited to my silliness.
God brought us from death unto life, and then He gave us a seat in His kingdom at His right hand. We REIGN in life. Romans 5:17 “For if by one man's offence, death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)”
We are IN the kingdom not outside of it.
I have to watch the things I say, and the things I allow in my heart. I have to guard my heart with ALL diligence. Even though a word or statement may sound innocence, they can be very subtle. Even a little word like “breakthrough” can cause me to take my eyes off of everything that I ALREADY have, and then I do not see everything that has “freely” been given to me. Even though it is before my face. Sounds familiar?
My heart felt inspired to share…
