At Sol Dance, dancing is an act of rebellion.

A resistance against every narrative that tells adults how to move, how to act, how to exist inside their own bodies. What inherited conditions are you still carrying? What would it feel like to put them down?

The dance floor is where we start to find out. Not just releasing tension in the muscles — but in the mind.

Here, our co-founder and somatic psychotherapist of Emerge Psychotherapy and Healing speaks from the stage at Sanctuary Summit on how this space becomes the ground for embodied liberation — for each of us, and for all of us.

And on a day that honors the mothers, the nurturers, the life-givers…
we hold space for all forms of creation.
